About Me
Jean Pascal Koh Dimbot is a Cameroonian ecologist and data analyst with over a decade of experience in conservation and ecological research.
He specializes in data analysis using R Programming to support ecological and conservation initiatives across Central Africa. As the founder and coordinator of the R Club at the University of Dschang, he has played a pivotal role in strengthening students’ skills in scientific data analysis.
His conservation work includes extensive field research on the African manatee and other megafauna, with projects supported by the US Fish and Wildlife Service and the African Aquatic Conservation Fund.
Currently, he serves as a Scientific Advisor for Alliance-GSAC (Alliance pour la Conservation des Grands Singes en Afrique Centrale), where he oversees data management and impact evaluation for conservation programs.
